Vision, Values and Views
Our Vision
“A great multitude that no one could count, from every nation,
tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of
the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches
in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’” – Revelation 7:9-10
- We dream … of expanding our membership
of committed and passionate Christians who spend daily time with God,
responsible for all the resources God has given them and actively
participate in the community. - We dream … of small communities within our church who experience God’s love, nurturing, accountability, and spiritual transformation
- We dream … of servant leaders actively serving the church body with their God-given gifts, talents and resources
- We dream … of full-time site pastors who will effectively strengthen each of our two church campuses
Our Values
- Logos Community – We are committed to see our members become knowledgable of God’s word.
- Impacting Community – We are committed to impacting our communities at home and abroad
- Glorifying Community – We are committed to seeing Jesus’ name honoured and glorified
- Healthy Community – We are committed to see our our members grow in faith and in relationships
- Transforming Community – We are committed in seeing lives transformed into the image of Christ
Our Views
- We believe … that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, the only inerrant, perfect rule of faith and deed.
- We believe … there are three Persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
- We believe … God sent his eternal, only begotten son, Jesus Christ to the world to save all men and women from sin to give eternal life in his infinite love; in Jesus Christ God became flesh and through him all people can be saved.
- We believe … that the sacraments instituted by Christ are baptism and the Holy Communion; baptism is washing with water to be administered in the name of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and is the sign of joining us in union with Christ. Holy Communion is to be served in remembrance of Christ’s death.
- We believe … all believers shall dutifully join in church membership, obey the laws of the Lord, pray always, observe the Sabbath, assemble with believers to worship the Lord, render offerings as God provides us abundantly, endeavor to promote the expansion of the Kingdom of Christ upon the whole world, and wait expectantly for the appearance of the Lord in his glory.
