After experiencing the realness of God at 16, Eddy wanted his friends and family to know God beyond the institutionalized church. Having been mentored throughout his life by a community of believers, Eddy deeply values the importance of discipleship and being an active and contributing member of a faith-praxis community group. After completing his BSc (Science) at McMaster University, he went on to receive his M.Div at Regent College in Vancouver and his Education and Reception Certificate at Knox College in Toronto. He is currently working on his Th.M Thesis from Fuller Theological Seminary. Eddy has served as a pastor in Canada, Korea and the United States. He believes that God has used each of these ministry contexts to stretch him, prune him and shape him into a better servant of God. He is married to his wife Hyehwa and has two children, April (daughter) and Eden (son).
