Summer 2018 Discipleship Classes

This summer we will be beginning another round of classes including Evangelism 101, Gospel 101 and New Hope 101.  Read more about the classes below! We are also introducing the new Summer Patio which will run during the summer. Visit the Summer Patio page to read more about it!

Description: Why is evangelism so intimidating?  Am I doing something wrong? What should I say and how should I say it when sharing the gospel? We will address questions like these in a four-week class devoted to evangelism as we search through Scripture to identify key foundational principles on evangelism. For instance, the problem of sin, the need to be both flexible and faithful, and the unnecessary burden of the results of evangelism.
Target Audience: Anyone who would like to learn more about the gospel and how to share it.
Facilitators: Pastoral Team
Time: 4 Sundays, June 3 – June 24, from 11:305AM – 1:00PM
Location: EM Office room #310

Description: Using Tim Keller’s book, Prodigal God this class will help you to discover the amazing depths of God’s extravagant love. In six sessions, we will see that the gospel is neither religion nor irreligion, but something else entirely. Whether you are a devout believer or a skeptic, this class will challenge you to see Christianity in a whole new way.
Target Audience: Christians, non-Christians, seekers and skeptics who want to go after the heart of Christian faith and life. (Space is limited)
Facilitator: Pastor Charles Baik
