2021 Vision Message: Unstoppable Work of the - Acts 11:17 

Opening: The work of the Holy Spirit is unstoppable in any circumstance. 

  • “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witness in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

1. Persistent Power of the Holy Spirit

  • “If it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God!” (Acts 5:39)

  • “But I said, ‘By no means, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’ But the voice answered a second time from heaven, ‘What God has made clean, do not call common.’ This happened three times, and all was drawn up again into heaven.” (Acts 11:8-10)

2. Creative Power of the Holy Spirit

  • “And now send men to Joppa and bring one Simon who is called Peter.” (Acts 10:5)

  • “And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, ‘Behold, three men are looking for you. Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.” (Acts 10:19-20)

3. Unifying Power of the Holy Spirit

  • When they heard these things they fell silent. And they glorified God, saying, ‘Then to the Gentiles also God has granted repentance that leads to life.’” (Acts 11:18)

Closing: God is inviting His people to join in and be used by His unstoppable work through the Spirit.
