If you answered “yes” to any of the above, then come to NEWCOMERS LUNCH on Sunday, June 29, at 11 AM in Room #312. This is open to all new people who have been attending our church recently. We want to connect with you and get to know you better over a light lunch.

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming LPC Scholarship Fundraiser Golf Tournament - taking place on Tuesday, July 1, at Granite Ridge Golf Club in Milton. This special event is an opportunity to come together for a day of fun, fellowship, and generosity as we raise funds to support deserving students in their educational journey.
All proceeds from this tournament will go directly toward scholarships for students who need financial assistance to pursue their dreams. Your participation—whether by playing, sponsoring, or donating—will make a meaningful impact!
The fee includes green fee, lunch, power cart, and dinner at church after the tournament.
Date: July 1, 2025 (Tuesday)
Time: Tee-off time at 1 PM (Registration starts at noon)
Where: Granite Ridge Golf Club in Milton
Fee: $150

If you're 22 or older, we invite you to join us for our Young Adults & Careers (YAC) summer kick-off! This is a great opportunity to connect and see what’s to come, as well as how we can bridge generations through organic discipleship. We will meet this Sunday (June 8) at 11:30 AM in room #116. The Light Presbyteriann Church Scholarship Program is now accepting applications!
The purpose of the program is to foster leaders of the church and society by discovering and supporting the next-generation leaders with the character of Christ, and supporting them financially in their academic pursuits. This program is available for registered members of LPC, NHF or a Christian in the community to which LPC belongs. There are a variety of scholarships available, and the application submission deadline is June 30, 2025. You must have a valid SIN as the scholarship is taxable.

As a church family, we follow the Robert Murray M’Cheyne (RMM)’s two-year Bible reading plan. For 2025, we will be on year-2 which will take us through the second half of the Old Testament, plus all of the New Testament and Psalms.

COLLEGE & YOUNG ADULTS GATHERINGS
If you’re a university/college student, we would love for you to join our College and Young Adults (CYA) gatherings after service every Sunday at 12:30 PM in Room #316 and every Fridays at 7 PM in Room #312. Come and join our mission-driven community of young people as we learn to follow Christ as we care for one another. New people are always welcome!
