Our purpose is to glorify God by inspiring, mobilizing & equipping NHF downtown members into missional living by spreading the gospel in word & deed in daily life, Downtown Toronto & the marginalized.

The Events Team plans and hosts social events to bring the New Hope Downtown community together. We hope to express Christ-Likeness through our events, deepen our relationships with one another and create a space for the community to fellowship with one another.

New Hope Downtown’s media team glorifies and praises God through our diverse creative and technical talents. Our dedicated team ranges from designing graphics, video editing, photography, social media management and more. We also support the church's Sunday worship services by managing PowerPoint presentations, lighting setups, and live streaming.

Life Groups are where members gather in a smaller group setting, to share life, pray together, and discuss the sermon and reflection questions together. Life Groups meet on a bi-weekly basis and each session is about 1.5 hours.

The Connect Team seeks to welcome, connect, and display Christ-centered hospitality to all newcomers and visitors of our community. The Connect team creates opportunities for newcomers to comfortably integrate and accustom themselves with New Hope Fellowship Downtown, its ministries and community members.

The goal of our Intercessory Prayer Ministry at New Hope Fellowship Downtown is to join together in prayer to intercede for what is on God’s heart. They intercede daily for the needs of the congregation and for various prayer topics. The team meets every second Sunday on Zoom to pray for the ministries at New Hope.

The goal of Discipleship Classes is to equip the learner so that we think, love and serve like Jesus. Classes are designed so that people in different stages of life and different faith stages can be equipped and nurtured.

The Praise Ministry at New Hope Fellowship seeks to usher in authentic, gospel-centered worship to engage the multi-generational congregation of NHF DT in spirit and in truth.

The vision of the Education Department of New Hope Downtown is to raise up the next generation of young disciples (and families) that move with a gospel-centered missional spirituality. We believe that the more we know God the more we will come to love Him. We teach our kids Christ-centered lessons with love, laughs, and heart. It is our hope that the seeds of the Gospel will be planted in their hearts and will spread deep roots in their lives. It is our hope that our kids will have dignity and integrity in their identity as children of God! We focus on encouraging an environment of worship and spiritual growth to raise the next generation of God’s people.
