Deacon Nominee Bios

Grace Lee

I became a member of LPC in 1997. I met my husband Terry here and together we have two sons Noah and Thaddeus. Over the years I've served in different ministries, but more recently serve on the Overseas Missions Committee and lead a Life Group with my husband.

It is my hope and prayer that our church would serve the congregation and community with the heart of Christ and that we would equip and mobilize the next generation to become fishers of men.

Mike Kim

I began attending New Hope Fellowship in 2015 and became an active member in 2016. I have served alongside my wife Joy for several years as a Life Group leader, followed by leading a Huddle Group. I am currently learning the ropes of the role as a Program Director within the Sunday/Worship Operations Team and look forward to further involvement and development as a servant leader at New Hope Fellowship. I have a passion for serving with the giftings that God has blessed me with and have really fallen in love with the beauty and revelatory nature of God's Word in the last few years.

I pray for and envision a community at New Hope where all members across all generations are serving and loving one another with their own individual gifting, at all times through the joys and the struggles.

Our family currently lives in Oakville with our three talkative and inquisitive boys (Elijah, Zachary, and Josiah) and with my wonderful mother (Insook).

Andrew Choi

Hello everyone! I’m Andy Choi and I have been attending New Hope Fellowship and Light Presbyterian Church since its inception. I am married to YJ and we have 2 amazing sons Asher and Austin. While at New Hope I have served as a Life Group leader.

My hope and prayer for our church is that we are able to discern and be obedient with what it is that God has planned for our church.
