I. Our Bodies after the Fall

“And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.” (Genesis 2:25)

“Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” (Genesis 3:7)

“By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)

II. Our Bodies in Restoration

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. he was in the beginning with God. … And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as the only Son, from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1, 14)

“Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” (Matthew 26:26)
