February is Missions Month at New Hope Mississauga! Our prayer is that the Spirit will use this month to bolster awareness, encourage and mobilize our church towards the mission of God. As part of missions month, we are encouraging members to engage in a weekly missional challenge.
The challenge for week 1: Pray for 1 person in your life this week in whom you want to see come to Christ.
The challenge for week 2: Reach out to the individual you have been praying for and schedule a time to catch up sometime in the following week in hopes of having a spiritual conversation.
The challenge for week 3: Have a spiritual conversation with the person you are scheduled to catch up with this week (and invite them to Alpha!)
The challenge for week 4: Follow up on your experience at your next Life Group meeting or send an email to pastors sharing your experience and continue to follow up and pray for your person (perhaps invite them to Alpha if you weren’t able to before)
After missions month, we will also be having the Alpha course, which is a great opportunity to invite a nonbelieving friend/seeker to learn more about Jesus and the gospel. For more info, visit nhfto.ca/alpha
