Michelle Jo

Michelle has grown up at Light Presbyterian Church for as long as she can remember, since the peanut factory days where she began to grow as a disciple of Christ. Throughout her university years, she re-committed in her heart before God to love and serve her New Hope community as he revealed to her the importance of covenanting to faithfully commit and care for God’s church. Thus far, Michelle has been joyfully serving in various ministries at New Hope such as Life Group, CYA Ministry, and Overseas Missions Team to be used by God for his Kingdom work.

With a background in nursing, Michelle firmly believes that wherever God calls, she shall go. In faith, she has entered into this season of life and ministry bi-vocationally, to commit her time to serve in the ministry context.

Michelle believes that God is a relational God and he calls us to be in relationship with people. With her love for others and desire to journey alongside them, Michelle is moved by deep connections that give opportunity to point others to Christ, so that they may hear the good news of Jesus and live out their lives in obedience to his commands in every sphere of their life.

Connect with her over a cup of coffee (better yet, ask her to make you a cup of coffee), she’d be thrilled!
