Easter 2023: Victory in the Resurrection
VICTORY IN THE RESURRECTION

OPENING: Jesus won the victory through the resurrection.
“And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:14)
1. VICTORY OF PERSEVERING CHALLENGES.
“That the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” (v.7)
“But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared.” (v.1)
2. VICTORY OF LIFE OVER DEATH.
“Why do you seek the living among the dead?” (v.5)

3. VICTORY OF RISING AGAIN.
“But these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves, and he went home marveling at what had happened.” (v.11-12)
Closing: Those who abide in Christ Jesus are given the final victory.
