2026 elder/Deacon Elections

Hi brothers and sisters. My name is Jack. My wife Mary and I recently welcomed our baby girl Jane (which means God is gracious). Mary has worshipped at New Hope Fellowship Uptown for many years and I became a member in Nov 2020 (a few years after we were married). My story isn't a straight line. It’s a messy journey from a rebellious teen in Vancouver to a man in Toronto still learning to repent. More recently, my journey with Jesus has taken me through long and painful suffering. Multiple hospitalizations brought me to close to death and the end of my own strength. I’ve had to watch my reputation as a "provider" and a strong husband fall apart, replaced by a deep, desperate dependence on grace. Through all this, I realized I’d rather be in this storm with Jesus than in the calm without Him. I’m far from perfect, but I am 100% sure of the One I’m following.
