Rev. Charles Lee
Pastor Charles was born in Korea, came to Canada when he was thirteen and has lived in a number of different cities in North America (Vancouver, D.C., Virginia, New Jersey, and Boston) before coming to Toronto in 2012.
Having grown up at church, he got baptized when he was in high school and grew in his faith through a campus ministry in college. Though he majored in economics in college, after a clear sense of God’s call into a vocational ministry, he obeyed God’s call to be an ordained minister of the gospel. As a lifelong learner, he studied at Regent College (MCS), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (MDiv, ThM) and McMaster Divinity College (DPT).
He is grateful to serve as a pastor at New Hope Fellowship where he gets to witness God’s grace at work in people’s lives. He desires to be a genuine follower of Christ who can help others to follow Christ together with him. He envisions our church to be a discipling community that equips the people of God for the mission of God in the world. That we will glorify God by making disciples of all nations, starting within our family and church context, then in our local neighbourhoods, schools, workplaces and to the ends of the earth.
He is blessed to be married to Natalie and be given three children (Daniel, Stephen and Charis).

Sunny Lee
Sunny joined the team at New Hope Fellowship's Mississauga campus in the Fall of 2024. Having prayerfully discerned God's calling, she is joyfully serving as our Assistant Director of the Sparks children's ministry. Firmly believing that the Holy Spirit is working in the hearts of our children, Sunny hopes for each child to accept Jesus into his/her heart as they experience God's sovereign grace in their lives! Everything she has is because of Jesus, and this is her testimony to the next generation.
An avid fan of all four seasons, Sunny enjoys gardening, patio dining, and day trips. Perhaps most of all, she loves walking with her husband, David, and their dog, Misu, who has taught her to appreciate every season to the fullest (from muddy spring walks to trudging through knee-deep snow)!

Esther Lee
Esther has been happily attending New Hope Fellowship Mississauga for almost three years. She is one of the worship leaders and is part of the worship ministry leadership team. Esther has enjoyed being part of many different church ministries but her greatest love lies with the worship ministry. She has been leading worship for over 30 years and prays for New Hope to grow into unhindered, undignified, passionate worshippers of Christ. Esther is a music teacher at a middle school and has been teaching close to 20 years in the public school arena. She is a firm believer in the call for Christians to bring the good news of the gospel into every part of our society, including our public schools.
She is married to William Jun and they recently celebrated their 24th anniversary. They are proud parents of three wonderful children, Caleb, Sarah, Joshua and doting parents of their cat, Oli. Esther loves to spend time with her family and friends, especially with good food, a good TV show and a good dessert.

Michelle Jo
Michelle has grown up at Light Presbyterian Church for as long as she can remember, where she began to grow as a disciple of Christ. Throughout her university years, she re-committed in her heart before God to love and serve her New Hope community as he revealed to her the importance of covenanting to faithfully commit and care for God’s church. Thus far, Michelle has been joyfully serving in various ministries at New Hope such as Life Group, College & Young Adults Ministry, and Overseas Missions Team to be used by God for his Kingdom work.
With a background in nursing, Michelle firmly believes that wherever God calls, she shall go. In faith, she has entered into this season of life and ministry bi-vocationally, to commit her time to serve in the ministry context.
Michelle believes that God is relational and he calls us to be in relationship with people. With her love for others and desire to journey alongside them, Michelle is moved by deep connections that give opportunity to point others to Christ, so that they may hear the good news of Jesus and live out their lives in obedience to his commands in every sphere of their life. Connect with her over a cup of coffee (better yet, ask her to make you a cup of coffee), she’d be thrilled!

Stephanie Hahn
Stephanie joined New Hope Fellowship Mississauga in July 2025 as the Ministry Coordinator for the Young Adults and Careers (YAC) ministry. She grew up at Light Presbyterian Church, where she began serving from a young age under the mentorship of many faithful pastors and leaders.
Through various ministry experiences, God has shown His power through her weakness, continually leading her to serve in new ways. She trusts the Holy Spirit will continue to guide her in this season of leadership.
Grateful for the loving and supportive community around her, Stephanie hopes the YAC ministry will grow as a welcoming space for all who come and join.

Monalisa Lima
Monalisa joined the New Hope Fellowship team as Administrative Assistant at the Mississauga campus in June 2025. Originally from Recife, Brazil, she brings a heart for missions and a passion to see lives transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
With a strong background in administration and communications, Monalisa believes that effective administrative support is essential to the health and growth of every ministry. She feels called by God to use her gifts and experience to serve the church and support the work of His kingdom.
Majeed
Majeed has been involved in Christian teaching and ministry since 2020. He currently leads a ministry reaching Afghan Muslims who are exploring the Christian faith and seeking a personal relationship with Jesus.
He is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Grace Mission University in Los Angeles, while also serving as a pastoral intern at New Hope Fellowship. His passion lies in cross-cultural ministry, theological dialogue, and connecting with people from Muslim backgrounds.
Majeed is married and a proud father of two sons. In his free time, he enjoys reading theological and historical books!

Randy Kim
Randy has been a serving member of New Hope since 2008 and became a deacon in 2013. He’s provided leadership in the ministries that involve connecting people to one another from welcoming and fellowship on Sundays to intercessory prayer. He can be seen on Sundays stationed by the doors either greeting people as they enter the sanctuary or taking care of details “behind the scenes.” He is a supportive life-partner and husband to Frances and a devoted dad to Timothy and Amelia. For leisure, you can usually catch Randy on the golf course or in front of his computer.
