Rev. Joshua Kang

Joshua Kang joined New Hope Fellowship in March 2026 as the Discipleship Pastor, where he primarily oversees the church’s Life Group ministry and helps cultivate a culture of disciple-making across the congregation.

Joshua grew up in the suburbs of Pennsylvania and felt the Lord’s call to ministry while in college. He later earned his Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology. He is passionate about helping people grow in their love for Christ through the beauty of God’s truth, being known and knowing one another in gospel-centered relationships, and serving together as the Spirit leads in every area of life.

Outside of ministry, Joshua enjoys exploring new places with his wife Lillian, taking their dog Lucy to local parks, sharing good food and conversation with friends, and cheering on Philadelphia sports teams. And if there’s good coffee involved, even better.
