Discipleship LIved Out

What it means to live as genuine disciples of Jesus Christ."

“...discipleship not just as a church activity but as a calling that shapes every part of their lives: family, work, school, and relationships.

“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31

Bio

My name is John Kim. I had the immense privilege of serving at Bridgeway for the past 16 years. It was an amazing time of blessing though not without its share of pain. During my deepest struggles, God spoke to me through John 3:30: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” I didn’t even have the energy to resist, so I just collapsed into living it out. Through this, God taught me to lay down the burden of trying to be a “useful” pastor. He helped me surrender my crown and throne to Him. With God truly at the center again. I was finally able to enjoy Him once more. I can still feel the joy of that moment when He came and restored me.
