Local Missions Team
Our purpose is to glorify God by inspiring, mobilizing & equipping NHF downtown members into missional living by spreading the gospel in word & deed in daily life, Downtown Toronto & the marginalized.
Events Team
The Events Team plans and hosts social events to bring the New Hope Downtown community together. We hope to express Christ-Likeness through our events, deepen our relationships with one another and create a space for the community to fellowship with one another.
Discipleship Classes
The goal of Discipleship Classes is to equip the members to grow as disciples who love like Jesus (heard), who think like Jesus (head), who are equipped to serve like Jesus (hands). Classes are designed so that people in different stages of life and different faith stages can be equipped and nurtured. Classes run for 6-12 sessions and offered throughout different seasons.
Welcome Team
The Welcome Ministry serves as New Hope Fellowship’s frontline team on Sundays. We greet and welcome all attendees to worship service with the love of Jesus Christ. In particular, we focus on identifying and welcoming newcomers and visitors to facilitate a smooth transition into the life and fellowship of New Hope. Our vision is to see every newcomer connect to the Gospel and the Body of Christ!
Life Groups
The Life Group (LG) Ministry is where Christians of all walks meet and connect. It is a place where we explore God’s Word together, pray, and care for one another. It is a place where we commit to grow together as disciples who make disciples. It is a place where we are intentional about being missional together and participate in the mission of God locally and globally. LGs meet twice a month from Oct-May.
Praise Team
The Praise Team at New Hope Fellowship seeks to lead the congregation to places of worship that connect spiritually, emotionally, relationally and culturally through prayer, voice and instruments. The Praise team meets weekly for praise practice and lead worship during Sunday Service.
Children & Youth Ministry
We offer your children and youth a place of wonder and discovery so that they can love and know God, and worship Him with all their heart, soul, and mind.
Media/Sunday Operations Team
This multi-faceted team serves to provide audio/visual support to all components of the Sunday Worship service. This team includes sound engineers, presentation technicians, video editors, scripture readers, video camera operators, Program Directors and Assistant Directors.
Young Adults & Careers
Young Adults & Careers is a hub for post-undergrad young adults in their 20’s and 30’s who gather to belong, be equipped and be mobilized for ministry.
College & Young Adults
Our College & Young Adults’ group (17-24 y/o) meets every Thursday night from 7-9:30 PM. Please join us for a time of fellowship, praise, and teaching as we seek Jesus together.
Intercessory Prayer Team
The intercessory prayer team intercedes and prays for what is on God's heart. It serves the NHF Mississauga campus and its members, as well as our partners locally and abroad.
Overseas Missions Committee (OMC)
The Overseas Missions Committee (OMC) is a tri-campus ministry with a vision to cultivate a culture of overseas missions among our covenant members by providing practical opportunities to serve.
Local Missions Committee (LMC)
Our Local Missions Committee’s (LMC) vision is to glorify God by persuading, mobilizing, and equipping members into missional living by spreading the gospel in word & deed in daily life, Malton, and the marginalized.
Decor Team
The Decor Team is to express our faith and exercise our vision, gifts and talents through a creative outlet while experiencing fellowship and team project building.
Sunday Snacks Team
The Sunday Snacks team thoughtfully plans the snacks, lovingly prepares them before service, and graciously serves them so that people can connect and enjoy fellowship every Sunday.
Sports Ministry
Share the Gospel and build community through reflecting Christ's love and grace on and off the field. This ministry’s vision is: fun, fellowship and intentionality.
Media Ministry
New Hope’s media ministry glorifies and praises God through audio engineering, drawing, graphic design, photography, videography, and computer programming. We support the church’s media and technical needs as we all worship and serve God together.
Media Team
New Hope Downtown’s media team glorifies and praises God through our diverse creative and technical talents. Our dedicated team ranges from designing graphics, video editing, photography, social media management and more. We also support the church's Sunday worship services by managing PowerPoint presentations, lighting setups, and live streaming.
Life Groups
Life Groups are where church happens! We meet in small groups at various places to fellowship and share our lives.
Welcoming Ministry
The Welcoming Ministry engages all members to greet and welcome guests and visitors with the love of Jesus Christ, building meaningful relationships and helping to create a smooth transition into the life and fellowship of New Hope!
