Winter Retreat 2023

After 8 long years, the New Hope Winter Retreat in Muskoka is finally here! We invite you to join us for our Winter Retreat on February 24-26, 2023 at the beautiful Muskoka Bible Centre in Huntsville. The theme of this year’s retreat will be “Vibrant Gospel Community.”

We will explore together 1) The Centrality of the Gospel; 2) The Gospel Community; 3) The Gospel Life of Faith and Work; and 4) The Gospel Fluency through Prayer.

We anticipate the Spirit’s work of renewal in our personal lives and in our community. We will have an amazing time of worship, fellowship rest and revival, so don’t miss this special opportunity!

  • Hello, my name is Stephen Ro and I am the pastor of Living Faith Community Church in Queens, New York. It’s my privilege to spend a weekend in February at your church retreat.

It is often said that the main thing in the church is to keep the main thing, “the main thing”. Hopefully, we can explore that main thing, the GOSPEL, at your church retreat. The GOSPEL is the engine that drives your life and is expressed through community-based relationships. A robust GOSPEL LIFE is fueled by kingdom-centred prayers and as a result, we can be disciples of Jesus at home and workplaces and not just at church gatherings.

I am looking forward to meeting you in person and unpacking the following four topics: 1) The Centrality of the Gospel2) The Gospel of Community3) The Gospel Life of Faith and Work and 4) The Gospel Fluency through Prayer. Once again, thank you for inviting me to your church.
